Prepare for the ultimate adrenaline rush at Dubai's largest indoor theme park. Here are nine rides you must check out.

1

The Velociraptor at Lost Valley

Four loops of unadulterated speed and a whole lot of unforgettable fun. You’ll blast off on this 1.1km rollercoaster and be propelled at speeds of up to 100km/h in 2.5 seconds across prehistoric jungles and then outside across the desert.

Fear factor: For adrenaline enthusiasts only.
Height restrictions: 1.3m and above.
2

The Powerpuff Girls at Cartoon Network

It may look like a kiddie ride, but don’t let the cute looking carriages deceive you. You’ll be rotated 360-degrees as your carriage flies through the air while the Powerpuff Girls battle Mojo Jojo’s evil robot to save the world before bedtime.

Fear factor: Hold on tight, this is scarier than you think.
Height restrictions: 1.35m and above. 1.25m if accompanied by an adult.
3

Thor Thunder Spin at Marvel

Be prepared to be spun like a chicken on a rotisserie. What’s more? You’ll move up and down at the same time while water jets tease you from below. Be stuck firmly to your seat (dangling upside down at times) as Thor, The Mighty Avenger, attempts to rescue you from the clutches of tricky Loki.

Fear factor: Only for the adventurous. And best to let your dinner go down before taking your turn.
Height restrictions: 1.4m. Maximum height 1.95m.
4

Spider-Man Doc Ock’s Revenge at Marvel

There are two rollercoasters on this track – red for Spider-Man and green for Doctor Octopus. The carriages spin on both, as you are whizzed through the New York skyline and plunged into a dark tunnel, as the battle ensues.

Fear factor: This is one dizzy ride, so hold onto your hats.
Height restrictions: 1.05m accompanied by an adult, 1.2m alone.
5

Predator at Lost Valley

After a steep incline, be prepared to fall – and when we say fall, we mean vertically. Yes, that’s 90 degrees. This is one – if not the – sharpest drop tracks in the region. Your heart will plummet faster than the coaster.

Fear factor: This is for die-hard thrill-seekers.
Height restrictions: 1.25m and above.
6

The Haunted Hotel at IMG Boulevard

More like self-inflicted anxiety than entertainment. Check into this hotel with caution, as the staff have an interesting idea of customer care. Expect zombies and ghosts at the most unexpected moments – they'll take no prisoners.

Fear factor: You’ll come out screaming. Not for the faint-hearted, as testified by the age restriction.
Restrictions: Strictly for 15 year olds and up.
7

Ben 10 5D Hero Time at Cartoon Network

Immerse yourself in a battle between Ben and Rook in this 5D multi-sensory theatre experience. As your seats start shaking, get prepared to feel the wind in your face and that disconcerting feeling of someone, or something, tickling your legs.

Fear factor: One for all the family.
Restrictions: 1.3m and above.
8

Forbidden Territory at Lost Valley

As you queue for this ride, listen to Becky Anderson from CNN report that there is an impending volcanic eruption on the island. It is a race against time to set off on a safari (in your Land Rover-like carriages) to find the eggs of near-extinct dinosaurs and save the species.

Fear factor: Nice and low. Just enjoy meeting the dinosaurs en route.
Height restrictions: 1.05m accompanied by an adult; 1.3m alone. Maximum height: 2.08m.
9

LazyTown at Cartoon Network

You’ll soon discover that there’s nothing lazy about LazyTown. Climb the rope ladders and sky-high rope walks in this exciting adventure playground. Then head to the Live Stage Show to see the cast of the Cartoon Network’s favourite show dance on stage. Will Stephanie outwit Robbie Rotten this time?

Fear factor: For the little ones.
Restrictions: varies from 0.9m
