Creating world-class UAE national tourism and hospitality professionals through Emiratisation is more than a mission, it’s at the heart of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing’s (DTCM) social and economic development plans. To meet the ambitious goals outlined in our Tourism Vision 2020, the objective is to increase the number of Emiratis working in the sector by 15 percent a year until 2020.

Emiratisation Task Force for Tourism and Hospitality
Founded in 2002, the Emiratisation Task Force operates under the umbrella of the DTCM and is made up of representatives from the National Human Resources Development and Employment Authority and leading five star hospitality sector companies. The key mission of the Task Force is to build awareness of career opportunities within the hospitality sector, as well as to develop and equip UAE national job seekers with the necessary skills to have a successful career the hospitality industry.
