Queen Rania to speak at Dubai Global Women’s Forum

Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan and Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed will be the keynote speakers at the Global Women’s Forum in Dubai next month. “The strong participation at the forum reflects the UAE’s leading position on a global level,” said Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed, President of the UAE Gender Balance Council as well as the Dubai Women Establishment. “The forum will highlight the achievements of Emirati and Arab women across various fields.” Other speakers announced on Tuesday included Christine Lagarde, managing director of the International Monetary Fund, Dr Ameena Gurib-Fakim, president of Mauritius, Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi, Minister of Development and International Cooperation, and Reem Al Hashemi, Minister of State.
