Fashionable Souvenirs

With calendar events such as Vogue Fashion Experience Dubai and Fashion Forward cementing Dubai’s status as one stylish city, we reveal the top souvenirs to purchase if you’ve an eye for style.

Our city is a shopping haven, will malls, seaside boutiques and neighbourhood shopping hubs filled with quirky accessories and unique attire from local and regional designers. So, whether you’re shopping for yourself or searching for presents for friends and family back home, here are some ideas to get you started.

What to get: turban and abaya, paired with statement earrings.

The place to go: MALAAK boutique, Jumeirah Terrace

Responsible for turning traditional Middle Eastern attire on its head, Emirati designer Huda N Nuiami made waves when she launched her contemporary line of turbans, abayas and jalabiyas in 2010. The slim-line cover-ups feature everything from lace hems and embellishments to power shoulders and flared sleeves. Her latest range focuses on neutrals of nude, navy and white, and includes drop waist dresses, off-the-shoulder tops and oversized dragon-fly earrings.
