DUBAI WORLD TRADE CENTRE
An enviable location, versatile meeting and exhibition spaces, and impressive facilities, make up the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), the largest purpose-built convention and exhibition centre in the Middle East.
With over 30 years experience and more than one million square feet of multi-purpose space, DWTC has welcomed some of the world’s most high-profile events. The Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre sits at the heart of the complex, making DWTC home to the commercial offices of Sheikh Rashid Tower and the Convention Tower. JW MARRIOTT MARQUIS HOTEL DUBAI
As the world’s tallest hotel, standing 355.35 metres from ground level to the top of its mast, the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai has over 1,600 rooms and offers up to 5,155 square-metres of total meeting space spread across 32 meeting rooms and two large ballrooms.
Owned by the Emirates Group, this hotel offers state-of-the-art facilities for event organisers and delegates. The meeting room capacities range from as small as 18 delegate theatre-style-seating in its meetings suite, to up to 1,548-delegate theatre-style seating in the Dubai Ballroom.
This impressive state-of-the-art hotel with 555 rooms is just a two-minute walk from the Dubai World Trade Centre. Conrad Dubai represents one of the largest meeting spaces in the city with a total area of 4,400 square metres, offering a splendid setting for social gatherings of all descriptions. With 11 flexible and dynamic conference rooms, three boardrooms and two grand ballrooms, the Conrad Dubai provides the perfect backdrop for special occasions, business meetings, product launches, and corporate gatherings.
Conrad Dubai is home to the largest day-lit ballroom in Dubai. The 1,215 square-metre Grand Ballroom can seat up to 1,100 delegates theatre-style, or host cocktail receptions for 1,250 guests. This elegant, pillar-free ballroom features crystal chandeliers and high-quality Italian marble finishing, and can be split into eight configurations.
Set along a beautiful beach, Madinat Jumeirah includes three grand boutique hotels — the Al Qsar, Mina A’Salam and Dar Al Masyaf — with a total of more than 850 rooms. The complex also includes the world-class Talise Spa, the atmospheric Madinat Souk and the multi-purpose Madinat Conference and Events Centre.
Within the Mina A’Salam hotel are two Arabic-style ballrooms, Majlis Al Mina and Majlis Al Salam. Majlis Al Salam is the largest, holding up to 400 guests, while Majlis Al Mina is more intimate with a capacity for 120 guests.
Within the Conference Centre itself, Joharah Ballroom can be divided into seven different rooms or kept in its entirety to hold up to 1,700 people, while the Murjaan Ballroom can be divided into nine different rooms and sizes, with capacity for up to 400 guests. Both benefit from state-of-the-art audiovisual and lighting equipment.
The Madinat Arena is a versatile ‘blank canvas’ that holds up to 4,500 guests. This dynamic space also features a fixed upper gallery and VIP sections.
ATLANTIS THE PALM
As you would expect from a venue the size and caliber of Dubai’s Atlantis resort, this is a one-stop-shop facility for conference and event organisers. In fact, the 1,539-room resort bills itself as ‘the largest eat, meet and sleep conference venue in Dubai.'
Whether it’s a gala dinner for 1,500 people, or an executive boardroom meeting for 10 guests, the Atlantis provides complete flexibility with its 5,600 square-metres of meeting space that offer numerous layout options. And although it is part of the iconic Atlantis complex, the Conference Centre is separate from the main resort lobby allowing delegates the freedom of privacy from hotel guests.
Meeting spaces are comprised of 14 meeting rooms, three ballrooms, and two boardrooms running alongside a pre-function area of 1,000 square-metres with floor-to-ceiling views of The Royal Tower beach. The spacious, 630 square-metres Royal Terrace, provides an excellent spot for up to 250 people to network and watch the sun set in the open air.
The Atlantis Ballroom, with its high ceilings, opens into a spacious 2,100 square-metres of flexible indoor facility. Divisible into three separate rooms, the Ballroom can accommodate from 360 delegates in boardroom style, up to 2,500 people for a reception. The Silk and Spice Ballrooms, each at over 500 square-metres, offer two separate spaces with similar flexibility; either as one large ballroom, or broken into two or three large rooms. Both can handle a reception for 600 or banquets for 250 people. Meanwhile, the Atlas and Andes boardrooms can hold 12 delegates in a boardroom layout.
