Cruise passengers need a valid UAE entry visa, which may be secured in advance or issued upon arrival, depending on your nationality. Please check www.dnrd.ae websie for details and updates. A multiple entry UAE visa is available for cruise visitors for a nominal fee. Contact your respective cruise line or a local travel agent for more information.


Getting around


Taxis are available from Port Rashid to anywhere in the city. Please note that a Dhs20 surcharge will be added to your fare when being picked up from the port. All taxis are metered for your convenience, and prices are non-negotiable. Shuttle busses are available to Dubai Airports and Dubai Mall at a nominal fee.

Buses and taxis are widely available throughout Dubai, as is the efficient Dubai Tram and Dubai Metro, with connections to all the major hubs and tourist attractions.
