Set on Sheikh Zayed Road, the Emirates Towers were designed to symbolise the technology of the new millennium — one that reaches out towards the future yet is firmly planted in Dubai's cultural roots. The slender triangular towers are clad in copper and silver reflective glass that capture the changing light of the desert sun and are dramatically illuminated at night. Comprised of a five-star hotel, fine restaurants, an upscale shopping arcade and thousands of square metres of office space, Emirates Towers are among the city’s premium lifestyle destinations.
At the time of their completion, the Towers were the tallest buildings in the Middle East and Europe. A fun bit of trivia: although the office tower is noticeably taller than the hotel, they have almost the same number of floors (54 in the office tower, 56 in the hotel tower).
