Spa-ing partner at the One&Only
Fittingly enough, the Guerlain Spa at One&Only, The Palm is the one and only spot in the United Arab Emirates you can experience the luxury brand's speciality skin and body treatments. In addition to its Parisian menu, the One&Only has developed three exclusive signature treatments that reconcile Guerlain's French know-how with the region's rich history of skincare. Book in for the One&Only Solar Evasion treatment, which uses a combination of smoothing exfoliation and massage to prepare skin for a longer-lasting holiday tan.

Underwater(ish) yoga at Atlantis, The Palm
Stretch out with the fishes at this one-of-a-kind fitness class. In the heart of the Lost Chambers Aquarium, you'll be led by one of Atlantis, The Palm's fully-accredited yoga instructors through tension-releasing and muscle-relaxing positions, slightly adjusted to mimic the movements of the 65,000 fish, rays and sharks that surround the glass-panelled room (yes, there will be a seahorse pose!). An hour of sun salutations and downward dog-fishes is finished off with mindful meditation, with participants encouraged to gaze into the hypnotic depths of the aquariums to help soothe both mind and body.

Spa vs. beach?
Popular Japanese skincare brand Shiseido has teamed up with ShuiQi Spa to make sure you won't ever have to choose between a beach trip or spa day again. Now you can have both. The Shiseido Palm Bliss package treats guests to full use of the spa's facilities. This includes the oversized jet-streams spa bath, the sauna and steam room, as well as two different 30-minute Shiseido treatments, a pressure points back, neck and shoulder massage, and a tailored Hydro-Perfecting mini facial. Next, it’s a three-course a la carte meal at the Nasimi beach-front restaurant, and the prospect of spending the rest of your down time with full access to the Atlantis pool and private beach.
