In addition to its vegan offerings (from the açaí berry power bowl through to the organic black bean vurger), the restaurant hosts a guilt-free ladies’ night every Tuesday called Up Beet, which includes all-you-can-eat from the 100% gluten-free and Up Beet menu.

Hotels are getting in on the vegan game, and the Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach has launched Folia, meaning 'from the leaves' in Latin. A new plant-based, standalone menu has been developed, which will include wholesome, plant-based starters, entrées and desserts created by chef Matthew Kenney, the founder of plant-based culinary venues worldwide.
