Not only is Dubai centrally located between the East and West, but it also offers excellent air connectivity around the world. Two thirds of the global population live within an eight-hour-flight from Dubai, and 140 airlines fly to over 240 international destinations from Dubai International Airport (DXB).

Additionally, citizens of more than 45 countries do not require advance visa arrangements to enter the UAE and can obtain a visa upon arrival for 30 or 90 days. Multiple entry UAE visit visas are also made available exclusively for cruise tourists at a nominal fee. The Dubai Cruise Terminal – the most modern and largest in the region – is located at Port Rashid, spanning over 36,500sqm on a pier stretch of 2,200m. Having the capacity to handle six cruise ships simultaneously, the port offers a tourist-friendly infrastructure with streamlined check-in facilities for passengers and luggage movement as well as a wide range of amenities and services.

Port Rashid is the home port for six of the world’s leading cruise lines. Every week, seven cruise liners start their itineraries from Dubai Cruise Terminal. The itineraries can be as short as 5, 7, 12 or 14 nights and even extended to an exciting world cruise.
