Arabian Travel Market hosts record show at DWTC
11 May, 2015
As Dubai confirmed it is on track to meet its target of attracting 20 million visitors a year by 2020, having welcomed 13.2 million international visitors in 2014, it was the turn of the region’s leading travel and tourism show to take centre stage at Dubai World Trade Centre this month. Arabian Travel Market kicked off its 22nd edition in style at the beginning of May, with one of its largest outings to date. Showcasing 2,700 exhibitors, 64 national pavilions, over 35 seminar and technology theatre sessions, and the return of the UNWTO Ministerial Forum, the hallmark show also attracted over 23,000 visitors. The show grew 7% from 2014, and added an extra hall for 2015 at DWTC to accommodate growth, with 86 countries represented and a total of 113 new exhibitors making their Arabian Travel Market debut.
