Canal stations, new roads approved in RTA’s 2030 plan

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority’s Traffic and Transportation Plan 2030, which includes a package of landmark projects, was approved on Saturday by His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. Sheikh Mohammad reviewed designs and components of some vital projects, including Al Shindagha Crossing, which was designed on the idea of “infinity” to make it a unique feature. Also among the projects that were reviewed by Sheikh Mohammad was the Jewel of the Creek, which features the construction of a pedestrian bridge at Bani Yas road, as well as the marine transport stations project which aims to construct marine stations for the Dubai Water Canal and Business Bay area.
