Dubai Business Events expands partnerships with local stakeholders
In the continued bid to establish Dubai as a global knowledge hub, Dubai Business Events has partnered with a series of diverse organisations throughout the emirate. Some of the existing partnerships to date include knowledge institutions such as Wollongong University of Dubai, American University in Dubai, University of Dubai and Zayed University, government entities like the Dubai Health Authority as well as Emirates Medical Association and the UAE Society of Engineers.
These partnerships are allowing Dubai Business Events to engage stakeholders from key sectors in line with the government’s vision for establishing a knowledge based economy. By initiating joint projects with academia and leading industry organizations, Dubai Business Events will strengthen its efforts in bringing further conferences, exhibitions and events to Dubai.
Bryan Gilroy, Assistant Provost and Dubai Campus Director at Zayed University, said: “Through our partnership with Dubai Business Events we have been able to target sector specific events within education and bring them to Dubai. We recently hosted the The National Academic Advising Association (NACADA) Annual Conference which Dubai Business Events were instrumental in helping us win. The knowledge exchange value of these events is a fantastic opportunity for the local education sector as well as a chance for educators from around the world to see the investment being made in developing higher education in Dubai and the UAE.”
Dubai Business Events is now in the process of establishing partnerships with the Emirates Scientist Council, Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences, the Canadian University Dubai and the UAE’s Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA).
