We have visited this hotel on many occasions. LRM is an amazing, fantastic hotel, & never fails to disappoint. Each & every member of staff are a credit to LRM, but special mentions must go to the following: Eddy for helping me to organise my husbands surprise balloon ride for his 60th & also for organising the Dolphin Experience at The Atlantis for our grandsons 3rd birthday. Shiju from Concierge, Roy, Michael & Dan from Club Tower Reception, Ranjan & all the staff in the Club Tower Lounge, Paul (what a gentleman) & all the staff in the Brassiere, Arul from the Pool Bar (nothing is a problem for this man). A very big thank you to Gagan & all the medical staff for the care & assistance given to my husband when he unfortunately injured himself - sorry Bojan, Tony couldn't use the gym on this occasion due to his injury!!! Al Khaima Restaurant- wow the food & entertainment is amazing here. Moustafa, Rakesh & Salah (chef) along with all the staff, well done. We explain what we would like & they never fail to deliver. Indigo - Another amazing & fantastic restaurant. Elson, chef & all the staff, this is the best Indian by far that we have ever been to. We visited this restaurant twice on this occasion, we explained what we liked & to what strength - the food was amazing, wow!!! These 2 restaurants are well worth a visit, you will definitely not be disappointed. We are already looking forward to visiting these restaurants on our next stay at LRM. As already said - every member of staff from house keeping/gardeners/kitchen staff etc are a credit to this hotel. There is construction work being carried out next to the hotel but this did not affect us in any way. The Club Tower is now looking dated (compared to the rest of the hotel) & ready for a facelift, however, we understand this is happening next year, will be looking forward to the new look next year. Well done to all concerned at LRM. (Sorry we cannot mention everyone personally).

  • Value for money luxury resort - very impressed.
We visited here during the Octobe 2017 half term and we were all, on the whole, very impressed. The property is pretty huge and stretches over two sister hotels. Excellent restaurants (although quite expensive), brilliant pools - with a 25m lap pool as well - and a general feeling of exclusive luxury all around. Richard, one of the personal trainers at the excellent Le Meridien fitness facility really went the extra mile to devise a training plan that kept me fit and healthy over the week, freeing me up to indulge most nights. Most of the service staff had excellent attitudes although some of the poolside waiting staff did forget or mishear our order several times so perhaps more training is required there. Hardly the end of the world but it did happen every day - not at the restaraunts so much but beside the pool. At first it was funny and then it did become a little tiring but it didn't spoil the experience because you could tell they genuinely wanted to please - they simply lacked an awareness on the importance of careful listening and not making assumptions that everyone wants fries with their meal even if you emphasize you dont want them. But that was the only slight gripe. Everything else - i.e. the property and the rooms - offered brilliant value for money when you compare with some of the so called "six star" resorts where you might pay four times as much but in no way receive four times the value. This property felt like it was competing in a similar ball park but offered a much better return on pound, so to speak. We will return.

  • Excellent hotel but with some things to look out for
We arrived at the hotel early and were greeted in a friendly and professional manner. The hotel provided us with a complimentary breakfast and we made use of the facilities. We booked a Super Deluxe room with a Sea View. However, when we were taken to our room this was in what is known as the tower which over looks a busy construction site which operates on a 24/7 basis. On querying the room allocation we were informed there is no other rooms available as they were over booked. After much discussion we were eventually provided a room in the main hotel but needed to stay in the tower for one night. This was accepted but the night sleep was disturbed by the construction activities. The room allocated in the end was not one of their super deluxe but did have a sea view and was recently refurbished. They compensated us with afternoon tea and drinks. I would say that avoidance of staying in the tower overlooking the construction sites is a must to enjoy your stay at the hotel. Despite the above, the hotel facilities, service, pools and gardens are excellent and we enjoyed our stay.
