Discover Multicultural Cuisine At Fume
When you're next in the neighbourhoods of Pier 7 in Dubai Marina or Souk Al Bahar in Downtown Dubai, it's worth seeking out Fume restaurant. The funky industrial interiors and vintage-style decor compliment a menu of home-style food designed to reflect this city's multicultural population. The kitchen uses traditional cooking methods of hot and cold smoking, curing, and slow cooking to prepare the dishes. Menu highlights include braised beef cheek, lamb shank pie, and charcoal oven cooked steak and seafood.

  • I can never experience more
I can never experience more terrible restaurant than Fumé, it’s just topped the top of terribleness. From staff to food to quality everything was bad. They served me white wine from a bottle that have been open for long time. The dish we ordered lamb cutlet, which it was so chewy, and With no side dishes, so we had to order a salad. Afterward we checked on the website we saw that the dish supposed to be served with mash potatoes and sauce! Yet we payed full price. The staff so inexperienced, I had to ask for a steak knife as they brought a regular knife that couldn’t cut the sinewy meat! Worst experience.

  • Inexperienced staff, poor quality food
We left singularly disappointed with the service and food. We visited the 7 Piers tower which features 7 different restaurants with different types of food. We gambled and picked Fume, and would soon realize we were out of luck. The restaurant was mostly empty when we arrived at 8pm. The decor was quite nice, a blend of hip street kitchen and upscale styles. The wait staff seems inexperienced, handing out the sparse menu and hovering while we browsed it. We ordered drinks, and still he hovered. We both decided on the cutlets which we were informed was served with coleslaw. There were no other sides to chose from so we assumed it was sufficient. When the food arrived the cutlets were served with just a bit of preserved red onions, from a jar obviously. Nothing else. Meat and a bit of onion. We decided on also ordering a salad to have something other than meat. The meat turned out to have a pretty good marinade but unfortunately the meat was rather chewy and filled with sinew. And still the staff hovered - us being the only guests. We would not recommend Fume as nothing really stood out as good.

  • Very Disappointing
Fume used to be one of our go to stops in Dubai Marina. It's relaxed setting was complimented by amazing food, great staff and good prices. I was very sad to see what happened to it now. The staff was unfriendly, the food bad, bordering on abysmal, and the atmosphere was not any better than a dive bar! All the menus were beer soaked and disintegrating and the whole place felt just dirty. I'm saddened to see one of my favourite places in this state and can't help but wonder what happened to it. I hope they bounce back or I'm afraid they will close soon.
