Cantonese Cuisine At Hakkasan

After successful debuts around the globe, Hakkasan, the Brit-bred, Chinois-chic chain of eateries brought its take on Cantonese cuisine to Dubai's Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel in 2011. The kitchen is overseen by acclaimed chef Andy Toh Chye Siong, and the design is a modern and glitzy take on Shanghai glam with an outdoor dining deck that showcases a lush wall of vegetation and oak latticework, and a lounge dressed in black and gold that comes courtesy of Parisian design firm Gilles & Boissier.

The menu features a number of Hakkasan's signature dishes, including the stir-fried black pepper rib eye and dim sum offerings. But Chef Andy has also developed a number of creations exclusive to the Dubai location.

  • Dinner at Hakkasan
Amazing interior design and atmosphere, very good cuisine and professional service. The outdoor area next to the water and with view to the Etihad towers is unique.

  • Nice, but....
Based inside the Emirates Palace, worth a visit. We have been to other restaurants of Hakkasan, wanted to try this one. Interior is stylish but a bit dark. The staff was ok but not very personal, you may expect some warmth from the staff....overall good taste, except for the coconut dessert, it looked nice but a bit tasteless. Sat inside, outside (lovely view!) would have been possible but it was a bit chilly. It’s not the cheapest restaurant in town, but there are affordable dishes on the menu card.
