Fine Dining at Lalezar
Perched on the edge of the gardens and waterways on the periphery of Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, this extravagant restaurant is a true testament to the beauty of the Palm Jumeirah and its hotels and restaurants. Dine al fresco with a view from the terrace at this magical Turkish restaurant or choose to sit indoors beneath elaborate ceilings and dim, romantic lighting.

  • A good variety
This restaurant offered a good variety of food for both adults and children. As part of the 1/2 board package dinner was for 1 starter, 1 main & 1 dessert for both adults and children. The food was very filling and the portion sizes were huge. The restaurant (just like the hotel) is so clean. Staff were so helpful and attentive throughout and nothing was too much to ask. We paid extra for drinks which is how it works with the 1/2 board package and we would definitely visit again.

  • A Turkish Delight
Every time I step into the magnificent Zabeel Saray I can't help but remember the James Bond Movie Skyfall that was partly filmed there. Sadly, there was no James Bond to be seen at Lalezar. However - even better - there was Chef Musabbeh Al Kaabi, The Executive Oriental Chef of the Hotel and the very First Emirati Executive Chef Ever! It turns out that the ultra talented Chef Musabbeh had more thrills, adventures and surprises up his sleeve for us than James Bond could ever have. Chef Musabbeh went all out last night and together with his outlet Manager, Ferhat and their team, delighted us with a wonderful dining experience that is unforgettable. Lalezar is a traditional Turkish Restaurant. That means you shouldn't expect to see pieces of meat flying in the air being thrown around by a guy in sunglasses pinching salt over your food. But it means, you can expect a seriously rich menu of truly oriental and delightful Turkish cuisine with a plethora of choice that is second to none. It also means you can expect true Turkish hospitality that cannot be beaten. It also means you will be so spoilt at Lalezar that you will come back again and again. Last night, we got to experience an up and coming menu item that Chef Musabbeh has been working on and will soon be featured on the menu. Imagine our surprise when the team carried a platter of grilled specialities with a meter long Kebab, the Longest Kebab in the UAE - I would like to add that it was also the tastiest Kebab in the UAE. Frankly, all the food was delightful to say the least. You must also try their Turkish wine which is surprisingly excellent. AND lastly, you must leave room for Dessert and experience the Baklava with Ice Cream at Lalezar because it is wonderful in every sense.
