Fine Dining at Lalezar
Perched on the edge of the gardens and waterways on the periphery of Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, this extravagant restaurant is a true testament to the beauty of the Palm Jumeirah and its hotels and restaurants. Dine al fresco with a view from the terrace at this magical Turkish restaurant or choose to sit indoors beneath elaborate ceilings and dim, romantic lighting.

  • The best turkey dinner i have tasted, with excellent service
We stayed at the Zabeel Saray for 1 week with Jumeirah Flavours/Half Board. Which include 3 course dinner for adults and children. Som courses with a extra charge. I let the waiter recommend my 3 courses, all 3 of them tasted amazing. The service was excellent.

  • Worth a Taxi Fare
I wasn’t in the game of writing a review in Dubai. So many good and excellent restaurants to choose from that it didn’t seem a useful review can be produced. I ate in at least 10 such places - mostly five stars locations - within the last month. Yet I write this review. To make my tribute to a sensational Turkish cuisine hidden in a five star hotel (Zabeel Saray) at the end of the Palm. But you know what? The taxi fare for the distance between the entry in the palm and this place is 20 AED, a “Lalezar Feast” (as I think the selected menu is called) costs only 215 AED and you would end up tasting the best Turkish cuisine of your life. Absolutely any single dish tasted different from what I knew before, so imagine my surprise. But you know what? You should try it and comment if I exaggerated with one single word.

  • Turkish Delights
I dined at Lalezar as part of my half board package at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray. The restaurant interior is absolutely stunning, with so much hand-painted detail everywhere. It is like being in a Turkish palace. I was looked after by OMUR who was lovely and we chatted about my previous travels to Turkey, and he helped recommend some things from the menu. I settled on a selection of dips and cold meze for my first course, which came beautifully presented with some freshly baked bread. As a main course I chose an Ottoman-style stew with rice, but I also requested some mashed potato and it was divinely creamy and a perfect accompaniment to the meat. For dessert I ordered a milk-pudding which was similar to panna cotta, garnished with strawberries and dulce de leche. I wish I had been able to eat here more than once but I definitely hope to return to this hotel. I have recommended Lalezar restaurant to my friend who lives in Dubai and will be entertaining some business associates from Turkey. It really is a stunning place to eat, and it was not very busy. So if you are planning to stay at the JZS please don't overlook this restaurant!
