Liven It Up At Miyako
The Japanese fare from Miyako is hailed by Dubai foodies for staying true to the culture of its home country. You'll still get a few fusion options to choose from, but the Tatami room, Teppanyaki and sushi counter keep the experience authentic. Cosy and friendly, the warm and welcoming staff will happily seat you in a communal or private setting for a fresh feast.

  • Celebrating their 31st Anniversary
Miyako is the oldest Japanese restaurant in Dubai and presently celebrating its 31st Anniversary with a special offer - 31% of the total F&B bill is being refunded between 23/10 and 31/10/18. Good reason therefore for our family to have dinner here last night - after a gap of at least a decade ... We managed a late reservation for the four of us and our daughter was asked to order a sharing meal. Kirin Beer On Tap for the gents and Non Alcoholic Fruit Punch for the ladies. Not sure if they were very busy or short staffed, or both, but it took ages before Maya appeared to take our order - and that really is my only critique for the evening. The food was top notch as always - Sushi, Sashimi, a Wafu Salad, The Yaki Gyoza, a Katsu Curry with Pork, a Bento Box with the works, etc. Perfect for sharing - we asked for a “doggy bag” for the leftovers. No room for desserts. Service during the meal was efficient thanks to Maya. Miyako has an extensive F&B menu including a wide selection of Sake and Shochu but we stayed with beers and fruit punch. Miyako has a live Teppanyaki Room (which was unused while we dined), the main dining area (where we had our table) with a Sushi Bar, and an Intimate Tatami Room. A separate bar area is also available. Overall an enjoyable evening and I received a hefty 31% discount when paying the Bill.

  • Best Japanese food all the time👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Me and my friends had a very nice dinner at miyako. We try their sushi, sashimi’s and yakitori and the taste was excellent. We also try the food called tsukemen its cold ramen on the side and hot spicy seafood soup and taste was really really good.
