Dubai offers a multitude of takes on the weekend’s favourite meal. With a wide variety of menu styles, cuisines and settings, there’s a brunch to suit every preference. Catch up with family and friends over an amazing meal, or escape the crowds and enjoy a more intimate meal at a table for just two. Read on to find the must-book Dubai brunch you’ll be adding to your holiday itinerary.

Geales Restaurant and Lounge
Located in Le Royal Meridien at Dubai Marina, Geales offers posh nosh. Think poached eggs Benedict, truffled eggs, and brioche French toast. Take your seat inside in the low-slung booths, or outside on the petite terrace to enjoy the sunshine. Geales is unashamedly British, with the breakfast go-to dishes accompanied by platters of grilled seafood, fish and chips, chicken liver pâté, roast beef, and of course, Yorkshire pudding with jugs of real gravy. Save space for the Eton mess, with its abundance of sweet strawberries, or a more rib-sticking sticky date pudding.

BiCE
For those who like to dine the Italian way, Il Brunch da BiCE is a journey through the country’s best-loved dishes. Featuring an array of starters, traditional pasta, delicious shared mains, a live carving station, along with a selection of desserts brought to the table, it’s a classic brunch that puts the focus firmly on good food. Using traditional ingredients and preparation techniques, the kitchen’s rustic feast is something guests will want to linger over. Family-friendly, BiCE’s brunch is also easy on the wallet for large groups, with kids under 12-years-old dining for free.

The Maine Oyster Bar
A firm favourite with Dubai's fashionista crowds, The Maine is also home to one of the city's lesser known brunches, making for a more relaxed Friday. Served from the a la carte menu, oysters are obviously the specialty. They are plump and plentiful, served natural, with a delicious topping, or as part of the fried oyster omelet. The kitchen also excels in other seafood, with the fish tacos alone worth booking a table for. The dining area is chic and breezy, with seating also arranged on the terrace and lawns.

Intersect by Lexus
Focusing on local ingredients and organic produce, the brunch menu at Intersect by Lexus varies according to what catches the eye of Chef Tomas Reger at the farmers’ market that week. While the a la carte dishes are rarely the same week to week, previous main offerings have included seared scallops with butternut squash, Chilean sea bass with yuzu-glazed turnips, and slow-cooked beef short ribs with a celeriac puree. Diners are encouraged to linger, with cosy booths side-by-side with well-stocked bookshelves, and live acoustic music continuing until the evening.

Warehouse
High energy and vivacious, the Hive Brunch at Warehouse isn’t for the faint-hearted. The popular brunch starts your Friday celebrations early, with live dancers and acrobatic acts taking to the floor as guests enjoy a buffet-style meal. Expect live hot wok stations, a roast counter, chilled seafood selection, a fiery barbecue, plus a dedicated dessert bar. While the brunch officially finishes at 4pm, the entertainment continues with the restaurant converting into a lively lounge for those looking to kick on with festivities.

Al Bahou
It’s all about spending quality time with the family at Al Bahou’s dining extravaganza. Family entertainment includes face painters, a movie theatre showing kid-appropriate flicks, a bouncy castle, and other interactive activities to cater to children of all ages. Fun aside, the buffet-style brunch serves up favourites from the Arabian world. Design your own mezze with sampler plates of the region’s traditional dips, salads and pastries, before trying a mixed meat grill or time-honoured Emirati dishes.

Traiteur
Take a seat along the pristine waters of the Creek. Brasserie du Park offers the finest of French fares, a signature of the iconic brunch, while NOÉPE deals in Maine-inspired seafood. Highlights include a range of select gourmet cheeses, charcuterie and terrines alongside quintessential symbols of French dining, including Burgundy snails, pan-seared foie gras, scallops and freshly shucked Fine de Claire oysters. Chic and sophisticated, Traiteur’s brunch is ideal for a romantic date day, or for intimate special celebrations.

Fogo de Chão
Meat-lovers will meet their match at this delicious Brazilian-style brunch. Guests can enjoy the signature churrasco experience which includes unlimited premium cuts of meats carved directly at the table. Try out six different cuts of beefs, marinated chicken, mixed sausages, seasoned lamb, seafood and brown sugar-glazed grilled pineapple. Cooked in the gaucho style over sizzling flames, the southern Brazilian feast comes complete with high energy entertainment. It’s an action-packed start to your weekend.
