Fan of motorsports? Emirates Motor Sport Federation (EMSF) is a non-profit government organisation devoted to powering up grassroots motorsports in the UAE. Stationed in Al Garhoud, They ignite engines all over the city with a wide range of events and facilities all year round.

Against the picturesque desert skyline, watch riders match skills at the UAE AutoX Championship. This autocross competition is a timed navigation through a defined course, pushing handling abilities to the limit over car, power, and speed.

Drift UAE gives the Japanese art form of drifting an Arabian twist. In a seven-round series, drifters can show off their smoothest slides all over the sands of the city.

Newest to the family is the Emirates Desert Championship. Started in 2013, this series takes advantage of the dramatic scenery of the city with races featuring some serious speed demons. From October to February, you can watch cars, buggies, quads and motorcycles crush the dunes to make it to the finish line first.

And the EMSF is also a proud supporter of the long-running Dubai Motocross Club. They provide a racing facility for motocross and off-roading at their clubs Motorcross Park in Jebel Ali.
