First Aloft hotel to open on The Palm in 2017
13 June, 2016
The first hotel on The Palm Jumeirah offering rooms starting from $100 per night will open its doors in 2017. The hotel, which is part of the mid-range Aloft brand, will cost around $100 a night, and will be among the first hotels on Nakheel’s iconic palm tree-shaped island to offer such cheap rates. With a plush, urban inspired design and 500-metre beach with sunbeds and gazebos, the hotel hopes to draw young travellers, said Stefan Breg, Starwood Hotels Food and Beverage Operations Manager in the Middle East, Asia and Africa. Set on the southern extremity of The Palm’s crescent, near the Rixos Hotel, it’s completely surrounded by water and has a roof-top lounge.
