HubZero: the region’s first indoor video game park

This summer will see the opening a massive 15,000sqft immersive video-game entertainment park called Hub Zero. Located in Dubai’s City Walk mall and described as a “fully interactive gaming experience”, the park will feature 18 virtual reality attractions that are powered by artificial intelligence and real-time engines that will run large-scale simulators of popular games including Battlefield, Plants vs. Zombies, Resident Evil, Final Fantasy, Dragon Age and Gears of War. The project has been a collaboration with top games developers EA, Capcom, Konami, Microsoft and Square Enix, while Hub Zero will also house a retro arcade for old-school gamers, an e-Sports LAN gaming zone for those looking for a bit of friendly competition, and a Hub Café.
