Radisson Blu Dubai Deira Creek East Coast champion

After being named the first runner-up in 2014, the culinary team of the Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Deira Creek won the champion trophy for the best Culinary Team of the Show. Chef Uwe Micheel said he was proud of the group of young chefs who scored full marks at the show, with 25 medals won out of 25 entries. The team had 25 entries in the 14 different classes of the event and was award 11 Gold, seven Silver and seven bronze medals. The East Coast International Culinary Event has grown into the third biggest culinary competition in the region. Chefs from more than 40 establishments in the UAE attend, as well as visiting chefs from six other countries.
