Rosemont Hotel in Dubai ‘to have rainforest’
16 April, 2016
A new Dubai skyscraper is to have a UAE-first rainforest and man-made urban beach housed within it. Located on Sheikh Zayed Road near TECOM and The Greens, Rosemont Hotel and Residences will be a dual-tower development consisting of two 47-storey structures spread across 170,000sqm. The scrapers will be linked by a podium five storeys up that will host the headline-grabbing landscaping. Official details on those elements haven’t been released, but in February, AOL claimed 23,000sqm of rainforest will be serviced by a river stream of recycled water. They also added the hotel was expected to have robot baggage handlers.
