16 April, 2016
Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, has announced a new route from its base in Katowice, Poland to Dubai’s second airport. Starting 31 October, Wizz will operate two flights per week, on Mondays and Fridays, from Katowice to Dubai World Central Airport, the carrier said in a statement. Wizz Air was the first airline operating flights to Dubai World Central in 2013. The airport is designed to become the main aviation centre in the region and is expected to become one of the world’s busiest airports in the next decade.
