The prestigious Michelin Guide made its Dubai debut in 2022, and the city’s culinary scene has flourished since. This year, in it’s fourth edition, the Michelin Guide included an incredible selection of restaurants, cementing the city's status as a world gastronomic destination of note. As part of the latest selection, two new Three Michelin Stars were awarded to FZN by Björn Frantzén and Trèsind Studio, which also became the world’s first Indian restaurant to receive three stars. A total of 19 restaurants in Dubai now hold either one, two, or three Michelin Stars. The stars are awarded only to eateries that are judged by inspectors to be of a particularly high standard, and it's unanimously respected by both chefs and gourmands around the world. The selection process considers the quality of ingredients, the mastery of cooking techniques, the personality of the chef, the harmony of flavours and the consistency in the menu between visits. But as well as the Michelin criteria, each restaurant on the list is defined by its location and the spectacular attractions that surround it.

Jamavar Dubai, which was awarded one Michelin Star, is located in Downtown Dubai, close to the record-breaking Burj Khalifa. A staggering seven of the restaurants sit on the Palm Jumeirah in some of the city’s most luxurious hotels such as Burj Al Arab, Atlantis, The Palm and One&Only The Palm. The remaining Michelin-lauded restaurants are dotted along Jumeirah’s coast extending into Jumeira Bay and another of the city’s most exclusive addresses, Bulgari Resort Dubai. And, although eating at 19 restaurants in five days may seem ambitious, the menus and the landmarks that surround them may just stir your appetite.
