From 17 May till 8 September, Dubai Sports World takes over the Dubai World Trade Centre, bringing 25,000 square metres of sporting action indoors during Dubai’s summer. If you want to host a sporting competition for you and your friends over the summer, there are plenty of facilities to cater to your needs and interests. Dubai Sports World is equipped with three football fields for five-a-side competitions, three pitches for seven-a-side matches, six rugby pitches, eight basketball courts, three tennis courts, 12 badminton courts, a cricket pitch, two volleyball courts and a fantastic new gymnastics area.
Take your sports to the extreme
Seeking some quality leisure time with added thrills? The ultra popular Ninja Warrior Course returns for a second year offering a fun-filled challenge for competitors of all ages and abilities. This exciting 14 obstacle course takes participants challengers’ balance, strength, stamina and common sense with the Sea of Swings, Floating Bridge and Warped wall just a taste of what’s to come. Race against the clock or go at your own pace.
This year’s must-try virtual experience, the all-new Battle Park uses the latest iBattle technology to put gamers in a virtual paintball-style scenario. Participants are guaranteed all the fun, but zero mess - something that’s sure to keep mums everywhere happy.
Get fit this summer
Gold’s Gym offers up a fitness challenge with group classes of every description designed to keep you on your toes this summer. Zumba, yoga, combat, pump, balance, RPM and fit flex your way to peak fitness seven days a week. Improve your skills with the pros
