What can I look forward to next at La Mer?

After its redevelopment, La Mer will become J1 Beach. The new luxury destination will include plenty of chic and delicious dining options - sample the finest Italian cuisine at Gigi Rigolatto, dig into fresh Greek-Mediterranean fare at Sirene Beach by Gaia and enjoy modern Japanese gastronomy at Bâoli. There will also be 10 other restaurant concepts to enjoy.

Is the beach closed at La Mer?

Although La Mer is currently being redeveloped, the public beach is still open. You can enjoy beautiful views and take a dip in the sea at the leisure destination, which is set to become J1 Beach.

La Mer is a beachfront development situated in the Jumeirah 1 neighbourhood of Dubai. If you are driving to the destination, it's easiest to access either via Sheikh Zayed Road (E11) or Jumeirah Beach Road (D94).

La Mer is located close to various Dubai landmarks. Make the most of your day by combining your trip to La Mer with a visit to nearby attractions including Jumeirah Mosque, Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall and urban lifestyle destination City Walk.
