Leave the city behind and head to the picturesque mountains of Hatta for cooler weather, rugged horizons and an incomparable natural environment where outdoor adventure awaits. There’s possibly no better way to experience the meandering pathways of hills, wadis and farmland in Hatta than from the back of a mountain bike. The region is ideal for cyclists of all abilities, with well-maintained trails weaving through the dramatic mountainous terrain. Hatta Mountain Bike Trail Centre offers four distinct route levels, offering everything from beginner-friendly routes for new riders to more difficult trials for experienced cyclists.

After an energising morning of cycling, Hatta Hill Park is the perfect place to settle on a hillside oasis and soak up the lush greenery that surrounds you. The sprawling park is nestled in the foothills of the Hajar Mountains and is undoubtedly one of the best picnic spots in Dubai.

No trip to Hatta would be complete without stopping by Hatta Wadi Hub, an activity centre with something to suit every adventurer. For unforgettable views, make your way to the nearby Hatta Dam to glide through the serene waters aboard a kayak.

After a long day of exploring, sleep under the stars at Hatta Dome Park, made up of 15 stylish dome tents – each of which has panoramic windows, a private outdoor terrace, sleek TVs and even a mini-fridge. End your trip with a touch of luxury and spend your second night at the stylish JA Hatta Fort Hotel in one of the unique chalet-style accommodations.
