The menu features a variety of breakfast dishes, as well as salads, sandwiches and a handful of main courses, all dreamed up by celebrated Dubai chef Izu Ani.
Lulu and the Beanstalk
Trendy cafe and bookstore, Lulu & the Beanstalk, is a local concept started by two sisters in honour of their storytelling grandmother, Lulu. The venue is found in the equally hip ICD Brookfield Place, and is ideal for kicking back with a book and a coffee by day, but it comes alive at night with a DJ and an upbeat ambience.
FRNDS Grand Cafe

An elegant eatery located at Address Fountain Views in Downtown Dubai, F.R.N.D.S Grand Cafe exudes old-world charm fused with contemporary glam. Come here to savour European favourites with a Japanese twist in an upscale setting. The Art Deco-style interiors are elevated with gold accents and plush velvet seating. Heavy drapes, crystal chandeliers and mirrors add to the allure of the space. They also have an outdoor terrace with Parisian cafe vibes. During the summer months, the alfresco section is enclosed and air conditioned so you can unwind here at any time of the day.
Armani/Caffè
Occupying a space on the ground floor of Dubai Mall's Fashion Avenue, Armani/Caffè encapsulates the brand's luxe aesthetic into an elegant eatery. The open-plan setting offers coffee and breakfast before serving refined Italian dishes from 12pm until late. Plates include lobster and seafood bisque, lemon-scented risotto with Sicilian prawns, veal Milanese and wagyu striploin. It's an ideal spot to catch up with friends, or as a rest point between hitting the shops and exploring the attractions Dubai Mall has to offer.
Splendour Fields
Facing out to the lush greenery of The Park in Jumeirah Lakes Towers, this large and atmospheric cafe is an ideal spot to start your day. The menu includes an all-day breakfast menu, as well as lunch additions from 12pm. Highlights include mushroom and truffle Benedict, fish tacos and the slow cooked lamb shoulder. If you're in a rush, there's also a fresh deli counter with salads, sandwiches and other light bites, plus a cute coffee truck which serves beverages throughout the winter.

Apricot

Enjoy hearty European dishes and fresh Mediterranean delights at this peaceful retreat in Downtown Dubai. Start your day in style on the cafe's outdoor terrace, with a breakfast menu serving delicious treats like the French toast with a salted caramel sauce brioche and an apricot topping. The eatery next to Manzil Downtown by Vida hotel has plenty of healthy options too, such as the crispy quinoa cakes with mango relish from the deli and the zucchini banana smoothie.
Le Nena
If you can’t resist an aesthetically pleasing cafe, La Nena should be on your list. The Spanish coffee shop and concept store is as pretty as it is relaxing, with beautiful decorations, some of which are available to purchase. Not only that but it’s dog-friendly too, so you might make a four-legged friend on your visit.

Famed for its pastries, coffee and delicious desserts, Yvonne now has an international outlet in Dubai Hills Mall. The Dubai branch is a colourful space, featuring a mostly pink palette with pops of green and yellow. An open counter displays the fresh pastries of the day, including croissants, tarts, pies and more. The space has been designed to emulate a chic living room.
