Combining two of the city’s best-known traits – skyscrapers and amazing weather – Dubai is home to a host of must-visit rooftop lounges and elevated al fresco terraces. Whether you’re looking for a party crowd or finding time to catch-up with a close friend, Dubai has a rooftop lounge that will suit your vibe. Make like a local and head skywards to one of our favourite spots for a night of memorable views, great food and warm company.
Catch views of both the illuminated Burj Khalifa and iconic Downtown district in the distance from this classic lounge. Perched atop the Four Seasons five-star resort along Jumeirah Beach Road, it’s a chic spot with lots of variety across its reasonably-priced menus. Signature dishes here include the Wagyu beef tagliata, mixed grill seafood platter and salt-crusted seabass. It does get busier as the night wears on, which will keep social butterflies happy.

Watch the abras cut through the waters of the Madinat Jumeirah’s canals from this foodie favourite’s al fresco terrace. The duo’s seasonal menu will tickle tastebuds with British flavours and fresh ingredients, while you take in the district’s palm tree-lined canal views and the almost-close-enough-to-touch Burj Al Arab. For special occasions, you can’t go wrong with a dining experience at The Windtower, a romantic spot with a two-seat table that presents magnificent views and a bespoke menu.
