Duplays

As the region’s largest sports provider, Duplays has grown from 400 members in 2007 to more than 100,000 today. If you’re pondering the perfect footballing spot, simply search the company's database either on its website or app for a comprehensive selection of sites and prices. There’s even the chance for young players to emulate a Brazilian legend with the Ronaldinho Soccer Academy, which aims to develop its participants both as athletes and individuals.

Dubai Stars Sportsplex

This sporting facility seeks to engage the wider community by offering a safe, affordable and enjoyable experience on its premises. The indoor venue has four futsal pitches of varying sizes, allowing visitors to try South America’s answer to five-a-side football. Played by the likes of Messi, Pele and Ronaldinho in their formative years, futsal emphasises tactical ingenuity ahead of football’s more physical demands. The centre also has four courts for “human foosball”, an innovative game where players are tied together by a rope and can only move horizontally, as well as “knocker soccer” in which competitors wear inflatable balls around their bodies. There’s plenty here to tempt visitors.
