Looking for a celebratory spot with old-world charm this New Year's Eve? Head to Dubai's heritage district of Al Seef, located by the historic waters of the Dubai Creek. It presents a truly picturesque setting with traditional dhows and centuries-old architecture. Take in stunning views of the fireworks from waterfront restaurants in the district, such as Skafos, that delights with Italian, Spanish and Greek dishes, and ILA, that serves up fresh Arabic fare.

When the clock strikes 12 and a new year begins, all eyes will be on Bluewaters Island as it erupts into a kaleidoscope of colour. The three-minute show will complement The Beach at JBR's firework display, giving people in the area double the awe and amazement at midnight on New Year's Eve.

Known for being a multi-cultural haven for people all over the world to come and spend time in, Global Village's annual fireworks display is a special affair. Every year on 31 December, the attraction has multiple displays throughout the evening. This year, there will be no less than seven fireworks displays, ensuring the celebration of multiple time zones around the world. The countdown begins with China at 8pm (local time) and then moves onto Thailand at 9pm, Bangladesh at 10pm, India at 10.30pm, Pakistan at 11pm, UAE at 12am and finally Turkey at 1am.
