All eyes on Burj Khalifa


As the clock strikes midnight, all eyes will be on Downtown Dubai's spectacular pyrotechnics, light and laser extravaganza themed as the Eve of WondersVisitors who want to be right by the action need to pre-register using the U by Emaar app to receive individual QR codes that will allow access on New Year's Eve. We recommend booking a table at one of the many restaurants in Downtown Dubai, including Souk Al Bahar or Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard for the closest, most unobstructed view of the tower.

Alternatively, head to The Dubai Mall to watch the The Dubai Fountain's spectacular light and water show as it builds up to a grand finale at midnight, complete with a new laser feature that will debut in sync with Burj Khalifa's programme. If you're celebrating as a family, consider spending the evening at Burj Park, located on a small island out on Burj Lake with clear views of the fountain shows.
