  • A "Palace", it's NOT!
Don't expect your room temperature to ever get cooler than 27C. No one on the property seemed to know how to repair air con. We were offered a different room but the desk clerk added; "It probably won't get any cooler." For godsake avoid the horrible restaurants! Bleck! The whole place is a 3 start hotel (at best!) trying to pass itself off as a 5 star "Palace."

  • Perfect location and really nice room
This hotel is situated near Dubai mall, is only a few steps away from the mall. Its in arabic style, and rooms, reception and all interior is very luxurious. Spacious room and comfortable bed as well. This hotel has its own signature smell and its a good one. The pool is really nice too, even that it isn’t very big. The hotel area is really clean and bery good service from all staff. Its a five star hotel like most hotels in Dubai, and compared to other hotels this hotel does not have a “that great breakfast” that you will remember. Its an expensive one with 150 aed, and unfortunately it doesn’t reach the top at all. It has a lot off options on hot food, but for instance their Belgian waffles were completely dry and tasted like ice cream waffles. The french toast was not golden brown and fluffy like they should be,and it’s not enough variety off bread and other kind off bakery items. Only two types of juice is also too little for a five star breakfast with that rate, and you often had too wait for refills as well. I also tried their afternoon tea, and that didn’t impress my either. Their sandwiches were okay, but the cake options were sadly like each other. Made with the same batter, with different topping is not something that I stand up and clap for. But the most tragic was their scones. They were cold an not baked today, it felt like “straight from the fridge” All in all, its a beautiful clean hotel with great service and perfect location. But their food is not an five star experience.
