City Walk is located very close to Dubai Mall. You can drive there in just five minutes. Alternatively, the number 28 or 41 bus will take approximately 15 minutes. Walking is an option via the Burj Khalifa/ Dubai Mall Metro Station, which is linked to the mall via an extensive, elevated walkway.

It is very easy to get to City Walk by car or public transport. By Dubai Metro, take the Red Line and get off at the Burj Khalifa / Dubai Mall stop. Exit on the coastal side of the station and you will arrive near to the Coca-Cola Arena. If you travel by car there is plenty of parking.

When was City Walk Dubai built?

City Walk opened to the public in February 2016. The Green Planet, a large bio-dome forest, with more than 3,000 real plants and animals, opened in September 2016. The Coca-Cola Arena opened a few years later in June 2019 and many of the nearby outlets, including shops and restaurants are much newer.

You can travel to City Walk’s Al Safa Road bus stop via the bus numbers 7, 28, 81 or C14. Alternatively, you can catch the C14 bus to the other side of City Walk 2. Once you're in the area, it's designed for pedestrians, with no cars allowed down the main shopping "avenue".
