Al Barsha Pond Park

As the name suggests, it is a big park with a really big pond at the center. There are separate running and cycling tracks. If don't have bicycle, you can hire on rent. Its a fairly large park. On one side you have play area for children will all kinds of swings and other stuff. You can often see people celebrating birthday parties or in general hosting breakfast / lunch / dinner with family and friends. During summers, boating is allowed in the pond for charge. If you are resident, then you must bring your children over.

Al Barsha Pond Park is a lovely oasis in the Al Barsha area, next to the Al Barsha Mall and not too far from the popular Mall of the Emirates. This park is built around an artificial pond, which offers boating facilities. The park has nice shaded areas to relax in, places where families can barbecue, green areas to play games and a nice jogging track as well. The place was spotlessly clean and left me feeling at peace. Entry is free. The park also has an outdoor gym, children's play areas, a mini football pitch, tennis courts and a basketball and volleyball court. In short, there's something for everyone here.
