  • Put on your comfy walking shoes!
It's a great place if you want to do some shopping. Most of the pavilions have similar things (perfume, soaps, beauty products, cultural clothing, jewelry). Some of the pavilions have really cool things (but I wonder if the items are authentic or "made in China"). The stage performances are really nice to watch. The food is grand, with many options from stalls to big, proper restaurants. The curly/swirly potato thing is so delicious! The carnival section is fun, although the games seem like a scam. The haunted house was amazing! My boyfriend and I were terrified!

  • A great place for friends and family hangout..!!
Like the name says it is a Global Destination where all different kind of people from all over the world come together to know about each other countries culture and traditions. The place is a great hang out location for family , friends and kids.It is not open during all time of the year, it is open to public only during the winter season normally from November to April every year. Since it is winter time climate will be great and the place is located in a very large area large crowds can be easily accommodated inside, there is an entry fee of AED 15 per person. It has basically stalls from all around the world where you can explore and buy things, apart from stalls there is a theater area where performances and functions are held, stunt performance, food court, kids play area , a giant wheel, and so many other entertainments are available, huge clean and well kept washrooms are available inside as well. One of the thing to be checked before coming is some days are exclusively for family entries, bachelors are restricted during these days so check the same if you not travelling with a family..!! It is located by the side of Sheik Mohammed Bin Zayed road accessible from Emirates Road as well. Quite easily accessible when coming by a car or Taxi. Bus services are available from Rashidya metro station to and fro which i believe is the nearest metro. I wont suggest this as a shopping destination, it's mostly a hangout place with friends and family. A must place visit when coming to Dubai...!!
