Madinat Theatre is located in the heart of Souk Madinat, within the Madinat Jumeirah precinct. Designed to resemble an ancient Arabian citadel, the stunning 442-seat venue was the first theatre to be built in Dubai.
The tiered design allows for audiences to enjoy excellent views of the stage, creating a more intimate and immersive production. The varied schedule offers entertainment ranging from Shakespeare's plays and international comedy to smash-hit Broadway musicals. You’ll also find smaller-scale performances from opera and classical concerts to pantomime.
World-renowned performers such as Britain’s John Cleese and India’s Paresh Rawal have graced the theatre stage. And tribute bands honouring The Blues Brothers, Whitney Houston, and Michael Jackson have all performed here as well.
Madinat Theatre has hosted productions like the Moscow City Ballet, India’s Maayavi Dance Drama Concepts and the UK Comedy Club show, Whose Line Is It Anyway.
The venue is also suitable for private events including corporate meetings, product launches and school graduations and ceremonies. Tickets can be purchased online or at the theatre’s box office.
Burj Al Arab
One of Dubai’s most famous tourist landmarks, the Burj Al Arab often stands among the top five – if not the absolute peak – of the world’s most iconic hotels.
Since its opening in late 1999, the hotel with its distinctive sail-shaped silhouette, has thrust Dubai onto the global luxury tourism landscape. Built on a triangular man-made island reclaimed from the sea, the hotel and its billowing sail-like structure rise 321 metres above the sea, offering panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf.
Managed by Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts, Burj Al Arab takes accepted standards of luxury to a new level. Guests have access to service on par with royalty and fine dining alike. Gold interiors, lush suites, the finest delicacies – Burj Al Arab’s long list of superlatives cannot be matched.
Take your pick from an underwater aquarium restaurant, a fleet of Rolls-Royces on the forecourt and the famous helipad that has hosted the likes of Tiger Woods, Anthony Joshua and Roger Federer.

Wild Wadi Waterpark
One of the best waterparks you’ll find anywhere in the world is the Wild Wadi Waterpark, a popular ticket at anytime of the year thanks to Dubai’s warm weather.
Sitting right on the shore of the city’s iconic Burj Al Arab, it’s a true Arabian water experience. Wild Wadi is themed around the tale of classic Arabian character Juha and offers a variety of pulsating rides, slides and activities for all ages.
If relaxation is your tonic, the gentle Wave Pool is a great way to rock away the day. Or, you can hire a private cabana for some quiet downtime at the Lazy River.
Kids will want to explore Juha’s Dhow and Lagoon, a giant playground offering a number of different slides. The giant tipping bucket is guaranteed to leave you drenched if you happen to be standing anywhere nearby.
For something with a bit more tempo and excitement, there are a number of speed slides to tempt you from your lounge chair.
Try your hand at the Flood River Flyer, or test your limits on the Jumeirah Sceirah. There’s also a surfing simulator to try and fight the water flow on a surfboard or bodyboard.
