Located in Downtown Dubai, at the foot of Burj Khalifa, The Dubai Fountain is a sight to behold. Renovated and upgraded in 2025, it is one of the city's most visited attractions and has free shows nightly from 6pm to 11pm, plus daily performances at 1pm and 1:30pm (and 2pm and 2:30pm on Fridays).
Submerged within the 30-acre Burj Lake next to Dubai Mall, the fountain's powerful water jets are laid out over 900ft and can shoot 22,000 gallons of water up to 500ft high. This brilliant performance can be seen from 30km high in the sky!
Lit up by 6,600 lights and 50 coloured projectors, the fountain leaves spectators spellbound as its sparkling jets sway in time to classic tunes by the likes of Adele, Andrea Bocelli and Coral Al Emarat.
Many visitors like to get up close to the fountain and throng the waterfront promenade during the musical extravaganza. However, those looking for a higher vantage point may prefer a table at one of Souk Al Bahar's terraced dining venues – like Karma Kafé.
For an even more enchanting evening, try The Dubai Fountain Boardwalk by Burj Khalifa experience. You'll step onto a unique platform, just 10m from the fountain, and engulf yourself in the incredible medley of music, lights and waterworks.
