Al Marmoom spans 10 per cent of Dubai's total area and includes Al Qudra Lakes.

Al Marmoom is also home to over 158 species of migratory birds, 204 species of native birds and a wide variety of reptiles.

The reserve is home to the region’s largest renewable energy project, Mohammed Bin Rashid Solar Park.
