Looking for some worry free 'me time'? Let your children enjoy active play and edutainment at these supervised play areas.

1

woo-hoo!

Move, connect, explore, examine and imagine are the five developmental aspects that Dubai's children's museum woo-hoo! cultivates through its interactive experiences. Additionally, children can grow their independence during woo-time, a drop-off session lasting three hours full of activities including soft play and digging for dinosaur fossils. The play area is located in Al Quoz, just a five-minute walk from Bounce Dubai if you want to continue the fun with some trampoline action.
2

KidZania

More like a mini-city, KidZania in The Dubai Mall is essentially a sprawling indoor playground where children can let loose. The make-believe town lets kids dress up, work, play and pretend to be adults for the day, building real-life skills while having a great time in a totally safe and immersive environment. There’s also a drop off service where you can leave kids over 120cm to play under the care of town 'Zupervisors'.

3

Dig It

Aspiring builders will adore Dig It, a soft play area and amusement zone themed around construction for three to 10 year olds. From mini-tractors that scoop up plastic balls to a conveyor belt you load up with lightweight 'bricks', there's a subtle nod to the industry throughout this brightly-coloured, intimate arena located at the Springs Souk. The Drop & Dig service is available for children over three, who can play under staff supervision for up to two hours.

Little Explorers

Drop off the tribe at Little Explorers and spend two hours browsing City Centre Mirdif while the small ones turn their hands to gardening, music, painting and pottering. The drop and play service allows children over four to explore the dedicated Space, Play and Water zones under the supervision of the Little Explorers team. As well as having endless fun, children will also learn valuable skills with a number of arts and crafts workshops on offer.

5

Cheeky Monkeys

Cheeky Monkeys is a soft play area that pairs the science of active play with thrills. With branches throughout Dubai, this indoor playground offers toddlers a multi-sensory experience with climbing structures, an arts and crafts garden, two-storey clubhouse, open gym and building block stations. Parents will be pleased to know that some locations such as the one in Downtown also offers a drop-and-go service, so you can leave your kids with the expert staff.

6

Bricobilandia

There’s nothing like a room brimming with Lego to keep the kids occupied while you enjoy a few hours of retail therapy. Children over three can be left to build to their heart’s content at Bricobilandia in Nakheel Mall and Dubai Festival City Mall. Brightly coloured bricks are at every child's disposal to build a new city powered by their imagination. And, if you're looking to follow this up with something more spirited, the Trampo Extreme trampoline park is just around the corner from the Nakheel Mall play area.

7

Playtorium

Once you take your kids to Playtorium in The Meadows, you'll find it difficult to drag them out again as they won't want the fun to stop. Aimed at toddlers to pre-teens, net mazes, a digital trampoline zone, climbing frames plus tubes and slides are just some of the draws. Role-playing areas and workshops keep little ones engaged, while an excellent cafe ensures adults are happy to relax here too. An added bonus? They will take care of children over three if you need to run errands.
