From 26 December to 27 January 2018, the city’s malls, markets, retail stores and shopping venues all go on promotion, with prices slashed up to 90 per cent. From huge discounts to amazing deals, competitions and prizes, residents and visitors alike have multiple opportunities to get their hands on fashion, electronics, toys, furniture, vehicles, jewellery and even dining offers. As the UAE marks its 46th National Day on 2 December, Dubai transforms into a week-long hub of activities, packed with colourful carnivals, decorated car parades, stunning fireworks displays and mall entertainment to keep the kids busy. A highlight is the stunning art installation on Kite Beach, which sees 4,000 UAE flags create a portrait of the founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

Various cinema and open-air screenings take place all over the city as film fans come together to share their appreciation. Stay tuned for the IWC Filmmaker Awards, with four Gulf talents shortlisted for the top prize.
