Eric Lanlard

Frenchman Eric Lanlard is a world-renowned Master Pâtissier known for his superlative baked creations and garnering an impressive A-list clientele following. Often referred to as one of the best patissiers in the world, he moved to London at the age of 22 where he became head pastry chef for Albert and Michel Roux who are known as the godfathers of modern restaurant cuisine in the UK. 

Five years later, he launched his own business, Cake Boy, which is a destination café, cake emporium and cookery school based in London. Eric’s skills and talents have been very much in demand, making him a global baking ambassador who’s sought after by luxury hotels and travel brands worldwide. 

In addition, he’s an experienced TV presenter, a regular contributor and guest on some of the UK’s most loved TV food shows including ‘The Great British Bake Off’ and ‘Masterchef the Professionals.’ He has eight cookbooks to his name, some of them being ‘Master Cakes,’ ‘Home Bake,’ ‘Tart It Up!,’ ‘Chocolat’ and his latest addition ‘Afternoon Tea.’
