  • Amazing Trip
We were picked up by our Tour Guide Hamdi from our hotel and the tour began immediately. Hamdi filled us in on the history of the Emirates and its people on the way out to the desert (about 50mins). Once out there we were driven around in open top 1950's Land Rovers. Super cool. We saw some wildlife (Onyx and Camels) and treated to a live falcon demonstration. We were then brought to the desert camp similar to an original Bedouin nomadic camp. We were treated to authentic coffee and rose water upon arrival. In the camp we were extremely well fed and got to ride the camels around camp. After this were were given an astronomy talk and the history of Arabic Astronomy. After this we relaxed on mats in the camp and smoked shisha with the staff and other travellers before being dropped back to the door of our hotel by Hamdi. Truly an amazing experience.

  • Best Experience!!
We had a blast our guide Erickson made the experience more enjoyable. From the time he picked us up to the time he dropped us off. He made sure we enjoyed ourselves the entire time - very engaging. The experience itself was worth every penny the camel ride, the falcon show and the dinner experience at the camp. A must while in Dubai!

  • Variety box of Emerati Experiences
We chose the Desert Safari Experience after a bit of research and it was an excellent tour. Botir picked us up from our hotel with welcome air con and cold water, and proved himself to be a most knowledgable guide, talking about past and present Dubai, politics and camel racing! The conservation area was about an hour outside Dubai, where both the men and ladies were wrapped in tradional headdress which we got to keep. Don't expect dune bashing, but nice drive around the area pointing out wildlife. Had to laugh when the falcon flew off instead of playing nicely for the falconry display, that is what may happen with wildlife! At the camp there was a delicious local meal, leaving us very full, henna tattoo, brief camel ride (getting up and down being fun!)' traditional dance, shisha pipes as well as a complementary astronomy talk where we got to see Saturn through the telescope. 6 of us shared the experience, lots of photographers taking photos which you could buy, no pressure, as well as a video. Lots of different experiences in one night. Well worth it.
