Nusr-Et Steakhouse
A champion of the Middle Eastern steak movement, Nusr-Et is a must-visit for fans of sizzling Turkish steaks. Yes, Salt Bae’s Dubai outpost is famous for his seasoning sprinkling moves, but the restaurant more than holds its own with Istanbul-styled hot grills. An interactive dining experience, many of the appetisers and mains are partially prepared at your table with a theatrical flourish. Whether it’s the delicate slivers of beef carpaccio rolled together with parmesan crisps and rocca, or the signature steak sliced and salted before being piled onto your plate, you can expect to be impressed.
Prime68
The second tallest hotel in the world — the JW Marriott Marquis — is a rather impressive location for sky-high steakhouse, Prime68. The view out over Sheikh Zayed Road and Downtown Dubai from the restaurant's 68th-floor vantage point is impressive, but the star of the show is undoubtedly the food. With steakhouse classics given a modern twist to match the contemporary setting, and an in-house charcoal grill on hand, each steak is cooked to perfection. Make sure to order up from the sides menu, with the well-executed and complementary dishes more than deserving of their own spotlight. Given the prime location, bookings are essential.
Asado
Meat lovers can appreciate the finest cuts at Asado, prepared from age-old Argentinian recipes. Together with live music and traditional interiors — just like an Argentinian country farmhouse — this steakhouse is a diner’s delight. Choose from an à la carte, or set menu, each offering flavoursome cuisine. Your choice of steak is prepared on a parilla — an open grill placed at the centre of the restaurant. Try the signature 24-month premium Argentinian grass-fed Angus – the rib-eye is especially popular, as is the traditional mix grill that features a selection of the finest.
Carna by Dario Cecchini
The region’s first dining concept by Dario Cecchini takes pride of place at SLS Hotel & Residences in Business Bay. Visitors can expect prime cuts of the finest meats and supreme steaks, as well as a few signatures such as the Chianti sushi made with tartare, and the famed bistecca alla Fiorentina, a porterhouse dish that never fails to delight. There's an admirable menu selection devoted to regional flavours and responsibly-sourced produce with creative dishes using beetroot, corn, cauliflower, mushrooms and more, including vegan delights.
The Rib Room Restaurant
This award-winning steakhouse has outposts in Emirates Towers and the Jumeirah Zabeel Saray hotel, both serving the restaurant's takes on steaks, roasts, and of course, ribs. Focusing on British classics done right, The Rib Room's steaks come with one starch, two vegetables and a sauce – each perfectly customisable to your own tastes. And, of course, the food is just as delicious as it is reasonably priced. There's also plenty to keep pescatarians happy with a delectable fish pie, catch of the day specials and seafood lasagne.
STK Dubai
While famed for its lively Saturday brunch, STK Dubai at the Jumeirah Beach Residences really is an all-week treat. Steaks comes in a range of sizes and grades, ranging from a USDA prime flank to an aged Canadian ribeye and classic Chateaubriand for two, accompanied with an extensive list of sides, toppings and sauces. This is one of the few steakhouses in the city to also serve up an entirely vegetarian version made from curried celeriac purée – definitely one to try. Keep an eye out for weekly promotions as there's always something irresistible to try.
Rare
It’s rare (pardon the pun) to find a steak this perfect. With an oak wood-fired grill, every cut is transformed into an indulgence. The menu features it all — cured, smoked, seared, braised and grilled, but the 450-day aged wagyu is an impressive choice. It’s delicious with the black pepper caramel sauce or try the pico de gallo for something with a tangy kick. For a special setting, book a table on the restaurant's alfresco terrace where you'll dine with views of the hotel’s lush polo fields and Dubai skyline in the distance. It's one of the most romantic dining settings we can think of.
Hunter & Barrel
Straight from the lands of Australia to the shores of Dubai, Hunter & Barrel is an exciting addition to the city’s culinary scene. Located in Vida Emirates Hills, the restaurant presents an array of signature charcoal-roasted meats and vegetables – think open fire prawns, smoky chicken wings and, of course, prime steaks that are a cut above. There's even a dedicated 'Steak Programme' menu, so you can choose your dream dish across fillet, rump, sirloin and rib-eye options. If you’d prefer to skip the meat, there’s plenty of vegetarian standouts too.
Rhodes Twenty10
The late Michelin-starred chef Gary Rhodes put his name to this Dubai Marina favourite, which opened back in 2010, and his commitment to the craft is plain to witness on every plate. At Rhodes Twenty10, you can enjoy sharing dishes like ribs glazed with sticky barbeque and honey sauce in a contemporary and sleek setting. There's plenty to graze on from turf to surf, with everything from the finest steaks to seafood mixed grills on offer.
Seafire Steakhouse & Bar
If you are a fan of the finest steaks and seafood, then Seafire is the spot for you. Inspired by Manhattan's best restaurants, generous portions and perfectly cooked meat done to each diner's exacting specifications is what sets this Atlantis, The Palm destination apart from the rest. You get to pick your piece with the ideal marbling and ageing, then move on to the searing, seasoning, the knife, the condiments and the sides.

Situated at two prime spots in the city — Souk Al Bahar and Madinat Jumeirah, The Meat Co. is the perfect choice to satisfy your appetite with grilled meats and a serene atmosphere. The renowned steakhouse that takes pride in sourcing quality cuts and cooking it to perfection in its signature style, has roots originating in South Africa. Come here to savour plates of wagyu, prime tomahawk steak, Australian Angus and Chateaubriand.
Rhain Steakhouse
Combining entertainment, a chic setting and the finest cuts, Rhain Steakhouse at Conrad Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road serves up a dining experience worth savouring. At Rhain – derived from the word for 'spear' in the Celtic language – high-quality steaks are always the main act. There’s a huge selection of wet and dry aged meats, prime steaks and wagyu to choose from but, for something out of the ordinary, try the Japanese-inspired meat sushi and steaks coated with gold.

Reef & Beef
A German-born steakhouse and seafood concept which launched in 2008, Reef & Beef has become synonymous with good quality steaks. Inspired by the American concept of ‘surf and turf’, Reef & Beef puts a high-end twist on the meat and seafood combination. Found in Manzil Downtown by Vida Hotel, Reef & Beef’s interior features a sophisticated colour scheme of charcoal, black and red to create a moody ambience, which aims to pay homage to the restaurant's German heritage. The restaurant also features an outdoor seating area and a lounge, both of which are highlighted by a clear view of the iconic Burj Khalifa.
