Spin your wheels
Dubai's cyclists know that jumping on a bike is the best way to get to know this ever-changing city. With great weather from November right through to May, cyclists are drawn to the varied terrains, state-of-the-art cycling tracks and international events. Check out paths like the Al Qudra cycling track or the converted camel path in Nad Al Sheba. Looking for a more exhilarating ride? Hop on a mountain bike in Dubai's hilly town of Hatta for an alternative adventure and tackle the many cycling trails.
Dubai’s cycling scene is gaining serious momentum as attention has been turned to providing purpose-built cycle tracks, both for those who simply enjoy a leisurely ride and serious cyclers. The Nad Al Sheba Cycle Park gives riders the choice of an 8km, 6km or 4km loop, with the whole course lit at night. If you’re interested in a leisurely pedal, Al Mamzar Park and Mushrif Park are ideal spots to spend an afternoon. There are also rent-a-bike stations in Downtown, Dubai Marina and Jumeirah.
